About The Waltz Weekend

The primary focus of the workshop will be waltzing at various tempos, and we will also work on the Mazurka (another 3/4 time dance) and possibly one other dance of Richard's choice. The weekend will be held at ArtsPlace in downtown Lexington.

The weekend will start with a class 7:30 pm Friday and conclude Sunday at 1:00 pm. Attendance is by pre-registration only and will be gender-balanced. The only prerequisite for attendance is knowing any form of basic waltz (rotary, cross-step, box, Viennese...). Tuition will be $60-$75, depending on options. Because space is limited to 64 people, we expect registration to fill quickly.
